Boilers on pellets
For the production of pellets can be used as business wood, and waste - bark, sawdust, cod, etc. The source of raw materials for specific pellets can be indirectly determined through the color of the material.
The dark, "cappuccino" color of the pellets indicates the presence of bark, indicating the use of waste directly from the logging. Such pellets can contain sand that reduces their quality. The dark color may also indicate a high temperature when pellets are pelletized, so it is not possible to indicate unambiguously the origin of the raw material.
The bright color of the pellets, in turn, indicates the use of waste from the secondary processing of wood (window, furniture production, etc.). Such pellets can contain impurities from the chipboard and other materials used in furniture production, in this case, the environmental friendliness of the pellets is questionable. To precisely determine whether there are such chemical impurities, it is possible on a red plaque on pellets of a pellet boiler after combustion. It is almost impossible to determine the presence of malicious applications in pellets before direct use.
